 INTEGRATED DISEASE SURVEILLANCE PROGRAMME   (IDSP)     

Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP) was implemented in Nagaland on 2006 with the objectives to detect early warning signals of impending outbreaks and help initiate an effective response in a timely manner. IDSP, Nagaland is headed by the Joint Director, State Nodal Officer and State Surveillance Officer. There is one State Surveillance Unit which is located at the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima. There are 11 District Surveillance Units in the 11 District Headquarters which are headed by the District Surveillance Officers (DSOs)
